Part 1 :
1. Go to a museum (could be ICA of MFA)
2. Photograph/acquire an image from the museum (Make sure you have a copy of the image, from your visit, or from the internet.)
3. Create a powerpoint presentation including at least 5 slides :
-Discuss the piece using the formal terms and concepts from the lectures.
-Present the powerpoint to the class (Should be about 5 minutes long.)
Part 2 :
Bring a bunch of materials to class that you could reconstruct what you see in the image you chose. It could be 2D or 3D. It does not have to be a 100% litteral reproduction of the image - feel free to interpret how the image makes you feel, etc. Think carefully about what size/scale the piece should be to accurately reflect the feeling of the work you're trying to reconstruct.
Part 3:
Bring in a sketch of how you would re-create that image - plan and map it out. Make it more then a 20 second scribble.
